Server 8 Beta

This is pretty freaking awesome for us Windows nerds. Let me break it down for you. Instead of having to buy some relatively expensive storage device (Sorry to all my peeps that sell that stuff…it still rocks..really) we can now use a Windows Server with lots of commodity hard drives and Voila! instant SAN.

Will certainly have to check the stats and specs and see what it will be good for:

1. File services

2. CSV (Cluster Shared Volume) with Hyper-V hosts?

3. ???

What Can Vegas teach us about Day Trading?

Do you remember that commercial for Vegas with the two dudes driving in the car all happy and excited to go to Vegas? Then 45 minutes later they are heading home all depressed and dejected? My guess is that they did not have a plan.

That, in a nutshell, is the difference between day trading and going to Vegas. Have a plan. Work the plan. Later, rinse, and repeat.
